In his iconic speech at the Lincoln Memorial for the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, King urged America to "make real the promises of democracy." King synthesized portions of his earlier speeches to capture both the necessity for change and the potential for hope in society.
We all have dreams.
It's a change in consciousness.
And King said "But there is something that I must say to my people, in the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrong. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights (Yes) of meeting physical force with soul force.
A brave and true soul of the times.
Live your dreams. Be in the now.
