Never give up Hope

Felix the Cat
Ahh the joys of getting a good sleep!
This was just too cute to not blog about today. My sister Ria has 2 cats.  She hasn't always had 2 cats.  At one time she had 4.   I lost this one (Felix) while cat-sitting.  He jumped out my 3rd floor window and went missing for 3 weeks and 3 days.  He had just flown here from Toronto so all's he wanted was to go home. It's a long walk Felix.
Needless to say miracles do happen.  We found him 3 blocks from the apartment hanging out at the beach.  They don't have those in Toronto.  It's nice that he decided to stay.
It's easy to love this guy every minute you set your eyes on him.
Never give up hope.

Social Media 101

So did computer testing this morning for a position at St. Paul's and those computer tests really don't cut it!  When you're a computer geek and use shortcuts like I do, remembering how to do it in the "layman's" way was a wee bit trying!

Hire Me Though!
I'm a great worker with a sense of humour!

Getting back to work..........

It's the first day back to work for most everyone and here I sit, in my little office in my little corner of the room and work on getting an administrative/design position.

I'm working on a website for a small sailing business and trying to catch up on all the social media happenings I missed during the holidays!  Facebook has changed it's look (again) and even though I'm hearing a few complaints, I'm going to upgrade my site to comply with the new changes.  It's important to go with the flow.
If it's your first day back at work, enjoy the day of getting back into the swing.
It's been a good holiday and this is going to be a great 2012!

Wrap up to the Holidays!

Christmas and New Years has come....and gone, and it was terrific! I enjoyed time with family and friends and as an aside - I try and creatively wrap all my gifts in a pretty special way using material. This year, I'd like to try and promote myself and my gift wrapping a bit to see where it can lead me as a side gig!

Being a frequent "yard sailor" (and if you know me, you'll get the pun), I try and pick up little nick-knacs that might look special on a gift.

Seems my family really enjoys getting my extra-special wrappings!
Hope you had a wonderful holiday season! Back to the grind as they say!
